Melissa Vargas

I am by profession, a certified public accountant (CPA) in the Philippines and have worked for various private companies in retail, manufacturing and service industries here and remotely for clients in Guam, Canada and the US. I work as a full charge accountant and I handle accounting functions such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations, Cash Flow Management and Payroll. It is my desire to ensure clients' books are not only upto date but reliable as well.

I am a certified Quickbooks Online ProAdvisor. This is a global certification issued by Intuit Quickbooks to distinguish Quickbooks experts. Apart from Quickbooks, I am also knowledgeable in bookkeeping using MS Excel, Wave Accounting and Xero Accounting.

Since working remotely, I have also expanded on some skills working as admin assistant for a London based charity, where I perform data entry, research and data mining.

I enjoy creative writing and I have written a collection of short stories, poems, articles, essays, speeches, messages, contents for many people offline but have limited experience online, except continuous membership to poetry and writing websites. I have also experience in translating, having translated three SALT (Seven Areas of Life Training) booklets from English into our native Hiligaynon language.
