Melissa Shann

I am a native Californian who has resided in Texas for the past 5 years with my daughter and fur baby, Minney Lu. We reunited with my younger sister and her family, after my early retirement from Los Angeles County Probation, completing 23 years and 10 months of Administrative and Peace Officer service. To date, I have obtained my Associate of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2002, and am currently enrolled in Ashford University for my Bachelor's in Business Adminstration, where I have maintained a 3.69 GPA and my position on the Dean's List for the last 4 semesters. On July 2017, I established my Editing business, Editing By Mel currently on Facebook, where I have edited 4 books that are currently being sold on Amazon; but I have practiced as an editor and proofreader for many years during my work tenure. Other works include countless resumes/cover letters, bios, study guides, and dissertations. My schooling is online, which allows me to establish the appropriate time management needed to complete my assignments, and be able to take on editing projects, giving them the same attention to effectively and efficiently complete each one in a timely manner. My goal with doing work with Hubstaff is to provide future clientele with quality editing work done in integrity, and to establish work relationships that will help build toward success in these businesses.
