My unique journey has led me from a career in addiction treatment to a passion for coding and software development. My background in addiction treatment has given me a deep understanding of individuals facing adversity, and has nurtured my empathetic approach. While I was deeply committed to my work, a personal tragedy disrupted my ability to provide the level of care I aspired to deliver and brought on new challenges with social anxiety. This pivotal moment forced me to find a new path.

I began my journey into coding with personal exploration, which revealed a newfound passion. Software engineering is a fascinating combination of creation, evolution, and overcoming obstacles, which is a formula that I find very appealing. Recognizing the endless possibilities within coding, I sought structured learning to translate this passion into a thriving career.
