Treasury – Accounts Receivable
• Managed an annual portfolio of U$8.7M of accounts receivable for all programs at the Institution.

outstanding accounts receivable from $80,000 to U$0.00 in each program.

corresponding registry to each customers´ account.

Assistant to the Dean
• Coordinated special events for the Institution´s Provost and for the Campus Dean, as well as for other
areas in the organization. The events included the participation of Presidents and other Government
representatives, Ambassadors and other special guests. This coordination included ensuring the
appropriate protocol to be fallowed for each event, as well as coordinating the general logistics with
the services provided for each event and security coordination.
• Responsible to provide the Dean with reports to be presented to the Board, National Committee,
Faculty and students. It was also my responsibility the translation of documents (English -Spanish,
Spanish-English), aid in the preparation of presentations and case studi es written by the Dean. I was
also responsible for providing the Dean with the budget executions for departments or Faculty who
wished to incur in new investments in their areas.
Fundraising Administrative Coordinator
• While serving as Assistant to the Dean's office, I was assigned the duties of Fundraising Administrative
Coordinator. In this position I was given the task of identifying new donors and key contacts, through
research on Nicaraguan Companies through newspapers, business magazines and the web. As a result
of the research and contact with prospective donors, the contributions increased for three
consecutive years,-, from US$350,000 to US$3.8M at the end of this period.
• Responsible for Implementing new practices and procedures in the Fundraising Department, in order
to strengthen relationship with donors .
• Developed and executed a new program for donor recognition that promoted their loyalty with the
Institution, in order to provide donors’ with confidence on the clear use of their inves tment.
• Helped implement the program Donor Accountability Program, through which a formal report was
issued, specifying the details of the received funds. The program gave the donor´s incentives based
on their level of contribution.
• Organized the National Committee´s meetings, which included the identification of key guest speakers
to present to the members on actual and key topics of interest. Served as Secretary to the Committee,
organizing the event and preparing and distributing the minutes for each meeting. Organized the
Donor´s and National Committee´s annual meetings.
