Summary_________________________________________________________________________________
Senior computer vision engineer with high skills in mathematics, programming and a comprehensive
understanding of building software projects. Have a focus on image and video analysis, with 5+ years’ experience
in commercial projects of computer vision products and biological data processing. Made the most accurate
commercial ALPR (Automatic License Plate Recognition) software that can recognize all Persian and
English license plates. The software is now installed in more than 200 roads and highways in Iran.

Work Experience:__________________________________________________________________________
A. Negaresh Rayaneh Pooya, Tehran, Iran (www.nrp-co.com)
a. Computer Vision Engineer (Nov 2016 – Sep 2020)
Designed and developed commercial intelligent transportation systems including monocular and
binocular vehicle speed detectors (with more than 98% accuracy in car speed estimation)
Optimized 3D mathematical and optical models for object recognition, camera calibration and scene
measurements
Designed a breakthrough algorithm for license plate detection and OCR with convolutional neural
network using python and C++
Integrated a real time software consists in algorithms such as License plate detector (99.9% accuracy)
and OCR (98.7% accuracy)
Optimized methods and paths to accomplish ITS (intelligent transportation systems) projects of the
company
Successfully managed to add English license plates from 6 different countries as the new targets of
the ALPR system
Designed and implemented an easy to use software for making and testing the camera and scene
calibration which is needed for converting the image data into real world dimensions (and vice versa),
using mathematics, Opencv and Qt
B. CELLNAMA, Tehran, Iran (www.cellnama.com)
a. Biological Image Analyst (June 2015– Nov 2016)
Successfully Developed various techniques for highly accurate segmentation and classification of
blood cells in microscopic images, using MATLAB and C++
Implemented robust methods for automatic lens focusing, exposure controlling and suitable region
detecting on blood smears using C++
Carried out a very fast program for microscopic image tiles stitching and blending using C++
Made a nuclei descriptor which segments and extracts the features (morphological, textural, and
chromatinic) in histopathological images.
C. Personal Side Projects
a. Medical Software Developer (June 2017– April 2019)
Developed a computer-aided diagnosis program for anomaly detection in brain CT Dicom images
b. Software Tutoring (June 2017– April 2019)
Teaching programming languages, libraries and software for Image processing applications
