Meghana Dhakal

I am a dedicated and detail-oriented Software QA Engineer with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, complemented by a strong academic foundation in computing. With just completing a BSc (Hons) in Computing at Islington College, I have consistently applied my technical knowledge in real-world settings through industry roles, academic projects, and continuous skill development.

My professional journey began as a Software QA Intern at BitsKraft, where I built a strong base in test case design, functional testing, and documentation. I later advanced to the role of Associate Software QA Engineer, contributing to critical projects by executing manual and regression tests, ensuring data accuracy through SQL validation, and supporting User Acceptance Testing for new features. During my time there, I developed a keen eye for identifying defects, understanding business logic, and ensuring that delivered products met user expectations and quality standards.

Most recently, I worked as an Associate Software QA Engineer at Cartmade Ecommerce Pvt. Ltd., where I tested Shopify-based e-commerce platforms. This role strengthened my ability to test across multiple devices and browsers, ensuring responsive design and consistent user experience. I also authored detailed test cases and executed smoke, UI, and regression tests to maintain product reliability.

Beyond work experience, I have led and developed several impactful academic projects. As the project lead for Biblioverse, a full book-purchasing platform, I guided a team of five in building .NET backend APIs and a React frontend with member, admin, and staff portals. My individual projects—Bookify, a review platform with gamification features, and Finance Tracker, a .NET MAUI hybrid application—reflect my passion for building practical, user-friendly systems and my ability to work across the stack when needed.

To further expand my capabilities, I completed a QA Automation workshop focused on Selenium with Python, enabling me to design and execute automated test scripts. I also attended a session on ISO 27001:2022, which strengthened my understanding of information security principles and organizational responsibilities.

I bring a combination of analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Whether working independently or in a team, I take pride in delivering high-quality work, continuously learning, and contributing to the success of every project I am part of.
