Their goal is to honor Tom Petty’s life and music and pay tribute to the legacy he had left behind. Petty Luv brings timeless sound to life as they pay tribute to this legendary musician. It’s Happening at The Foothills brings Petty Luv to the stage for an epic tribute to Tom Petty’s music and the chance to raise a celebratory pint on his would be 67 th birthday. They have dedicated their band to keeping Tom Petty’s music alive, performing songs such as “Don’t Do Me Like That,” “Mary Jane’s Last Dance” and “I Won’t Back Down.” The Heartbreakers have sold over 80 million records and four albums have gone 12x platinum. Tom Petty’s songs are heard every day and the legacy lives on through Petty Luv. The band states, “Our mission is simple – to honor the man and the band by spreading as much love and appreciation as possible by recreating his music as close to the original sound for as many people as we can, as frequent as possible….. Hence the term “Petty Luv.” Petty Luv will also be bringing to the stage Grammy Award winner Michael Ward of the Wallflowers. Ward and the rest of the group were awarded a Grammy for Best Performance by a Duo or Group for their song, “One Headlight.” Petty Luv will be bringing to the stage Grammy Award winner Michael Ward of the Wallflowers. Come celebrate Tom Petty’s birthday with us at the Foothills Events Center on October 20 th , 2018. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with beer and wine available at the bar.
