Md. Shariful Alam Hemal

I am a Computer Science graduate and a passionate competitive programmer. I have been working and developing web applications and RESTful APIs using Ruby on Rails(4.x – 6.x) for over 3 years. I have been working with PostgreSQL and MySQL too. For the last 3 years, I also have been extensively using Javascript(ES6), ReactJS, HTML5, Slim, CSS3, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, jQuery, Ajax, JSON, ERB for the front-end part in many different web applications.

Currently I am working and developing a web application using Ruby on Rails 6 and ReactJS. I also have a wide range of experience in setting up server environment for many web applications using AWS and Heroku cloud server. Basically I am a full stack developer including back-end, front-end and server administration. I have been working with MVC based framework for over 4 years. I use Rspec and Capybara for Test Driven Development(TDD) and Git, Github, Bitbucket for Code Repository.

Apart from this, I am very much passionate about competitive programming having 4+ years of experience on competitive programming. I have huge experience in participating in ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest which taught me to write readable, manageable and dry code.

I mainly follow Agile(Scrum) methodology while developing a software and follow Software Design Pattern while writing code. For the task/project management stuff, I use jira and trello. For the conference, daily and review meeting I use zoom, slack and google hangout.
