Hi, I’m MCCharles Magallanes. I like to say I’ve already handled the toughest job interview of all - working in the ER and Customer Service industry where every second counts. I started as a Paramedic and ER Nurse, spent over 5 years in healthcare and elder care, and now I’ve channeled that experience into helping providers as a Medical Virtual Assistant.
As a Senior Account Officer, I consistently deliver excellent customer service by addressing client needs through call inquiries and email correspondence. My responsibilities include processing booking requests, auditing website discrepancies, generating sales and arrival reports, and managing OTA bookings.
In addition, I have experience in Customer Relations Management, where I play a vital role in handling various client inquiries related to their properties, including title and lot status. I coordinate closely with the Accounting & Billing & Collections team and other related departments to resolve payment concerns efficiently.
I also assist clients with lot relocation requests, refund processing, and the issuance of Certificates of Ownership—tasks that are part of my routine responsibilities. Through these functions, I remain committed to providing a high standard of customer service and ensuring a positive client experience.
My background gives me a unique edge. I don’t just know medical terminology, I’ve lived it. I’m trained in EMR and EHR systems like Athenahealth; I can handle appointment scheduling, patient intake, insurance verification, billing support, and even telehealth.
The way I see it, my role is to make chaos invisible. Patients or clients feel supported, providers stay focused on care, and the systems in between run smoothly. I’ve also been a certified caregiving trainer, which means I don’t just follow processes - I improve them, mentor others, and keep compliance airtight.
What I bring is a mix of compassion and precision, whether I’m managing a calendar, handling prior auths, or supporting telehealth calls. If you want someone who can keep your practice organized while keeping patients at ease, I’d love to bring that balance to your team.
Thank you. I look forward to working with you.
