Mc Cauley Ashu Obenembot

I am an early-career AI/ML Engineer with a strong academic foundation in Computer Science and Informatics, specializing in machine learning and data-driven systems. I hold a BSc and BSc (Honors with Distinction) in Computer Science from the University of Johannesburg, with my honours research focused on optimizing Convolutional Neural Networks for brain tumor classification.

My experience spans the full ML pipeline through academic and personal projects, including data preprocessing, model development, evaluation, and experimentation in areas such as medical imaging, computer vision, and semantic segmentation for autonomous driving scenarios. I have also worked on a DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline project, covering planning, cloud deployment, operations, and monitoring.

I am passionate about applying AI ethically to solve real-world problems, continuously expanding my technical skills, and collaborating in learning-driven environments to deliver meaningful, data-informed solutions.
