A dedicated Reproductive Health specialist with over 8 years of progressive responsibility in sexual and reproductive health (SRH), family planning and SGBV response in humanitarian setting. Major responsibilities
• Led and supervised a team of 64 healthcare providers and data clerks.
• Planned, and budgeted for program activities with a team of 28 in the annual micro-planning workshop for FY22 and FY23.
• Monitored sites’ performances weekly, monthly, and quarterly through data tracking in the DHIS and DAMA software.
• Analyzed the data generated by sites, identified performance gaps and wrote weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports.
• Supported health facilities with the implementation of PMTCT, FP and clinical management of GBV
• Led and mentored outreach antenatal care (ANC) on refocused ANC. This increased ANC uptake from 78% in 2020 to 150% in 2021, and to 180% in 2022.
• Organized five groups of adolescent boys and girls of 35 to 40 per group in the town of Ngaoundere with the aim of developing resilience, empowerment and to help them take action towards the prevention of HIV, prevention of gender based violence (GBV) and improve their knowledge on sexual and reproductive health and rights.
• Developed training modules for the capacity-building workshop of 60 health providers in the screening, identification and the clinical management of GBV cases among women and adolescents living with HIV.
• Developed job aids for, and coached health providers in the screening for intimate partner violence (IPV) and GBV in adolescent girls and boys, and women receiving ARVs in health facilities for appropriate clinical management of GBV.
• Collaborated with the health districts in the quarterly supervision of health facilities using the Site Implementation and Monitoring System (SIMS), and wrote supervision reports.
• Identified site-specific continuous quality improvement (CQI)\ projects after the supervision, made a root-cause analysis, drew a remedial plan, and a time tracker to track the progress of each indicator.

• Provided technical support to all 19 districts in realizing the national strategic plan for reproductive health, family planning, SGBV and PMTCT.
• Led the Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) for sexual and reproductive health in the Anglophone humanitarian crisis distributing Reproductive Health (RH) Kits to health facilities.
• Coordinated two phases of the CERF project with local NGOs, marked by the distribution of Dignity Kits, psychosocial counselling and provision of a safe space for victims of GBV
• Participated in the initial assessment of two districts for GBV response in the North West region.
• Identified training needs, and organized the training of 70 health providers in the clinical management of GBV.
• Conducted the capacity-building workshop of 28 midwives in Emergency Maternal and Newborn obstetric Care (EMNOC) in emergency using the IASC syllabus.
• Completed the training of 256 health providers and 378 community health workers in the administration and self-administration of Sayana Press.
• Developed data collecting mask for the usage of sayana press and other contraceptives, and RH kits.
• Organized, and coordinated the bi-annual regional advocacy meeting on the multi-sectorial maternal and neonatal death review committee (MNDRC).
• Planned and coordinated the quarterly regional Reproductive Health Commodity Security Committee (RHCSC) with stakeholders, improving the availability of contraceptives from 35% of health facilities in 2016, to 65% in 2017.
• Conducted the capacity-building workshops of over 435 health providers in family planning methods, and post-abortion care including the use of misoprostol and the vacuum extractor.
