Mbah Alex Tochukwu

I am accomplished Software Engineer with over 10years professional experience in Mobile telecommunication space, where I worked with multinational vendors, operators and managed service providers. As a software engineer,I designed and implemented middle-tiers in N-Tier architecture, deployed and maintained innovative software solutions at record time, effectively managed third-party software, successfully migrated data from legacy systems, to mention a few.

My professional career commenced with Alcatel-Lucent in the 2007. In 2014, Tochukwu moved to Nokia where I worked as a Performance Management Consultant. And In 2016, I joined 9Mobile as a Senior Engineer in Systems and Solutions unit.

I received official recognition and award in 2009 for my record time delivery of in-house software developments. In 2015, my automation reduced the escalation period by more than 90%, almost at real-time. This major achievement earned me official recognition in Nokia.In 2017, I demonstrated how my innovative ELT/ETL pipeline unifies multi-vendor outage data and further showed how this model solves the business need for near real-time geo-visualization on network outages, prescriptive and predictive analytics.

I hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Nigeria and a master's degree in Mobile and Satellite Communications from the University of South Wales UK.

I use my innovative soft-skills to automate stats collection, processing and reporting, what was never imagined – became disruptive innovation. I designed notification service that automatically escalates outages and root causes to various resolution teams, while instantaneously logging these escalation for analytics and visualization. I designed ELT/ETL pipelines to solve the business need for near real-time data ingestion/ process from disparate sources, in a unified warehouse. This model became the middle tier for various business intelligence visualization needs.
