Hi! I’m Mazelyn Ortigas Abad, but you can call me Maze. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and have over 6 years of experience supporting healthcare operations, alongside more than 10 years of part-time experience as a Property Management Consultant. I started my career as a Telesales Agent at Convergys Alabang, then worked as a Tech Customer Service Representative in Healthcare at Sykes for two years, followed by two years at Ameriprise Financial. Currently, I’m a Senior Client Partner at Access Health Care, focusing on Electronic Medical Records for Athena Health.

In healthcare, I specialize in medical billing, claims processing, insurance verification, payment posting, and EMR management, with strong proficiency in Athena EMR. I have a proven track record of resolving billing discrepancies, analyzing EOBs, and coordinating with patients, providers, and billing teams to ensure accurate and timely reimbursements. I have some knowledge in Medical Coding, including ICD-10 and CPT codes, and am eager to continue developing my skills in this area.I enjoy streamlining workflows, solving problems, and supporting teams to achieve smooth and efficient operations.

As a part-time Property Management Consultant for over a decade, I’ve supported clients with tenant communications, lease administration, maintenance coordination, and operational planning. I take pride in building strong relationships, addressing concerns professionally, and providing practical solutions that enhance property operations and client satisfaction.
