May Joyce Ang

**Greetings of love and peace! **

I'm May Joyce Ang, but you can call me "Arya". I'm 24 years old and I'm currently residing in Cotabato City. I took up a Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English in 2018 and finished my degree in Masters of Arts in Education Major in English this year. 

When I was in university, I used to write news and feature articles for school magazines, and at the same time, I was also a photographer and video editor. I conducted my on-the-job training in one of the prominent public schools in my city for a year. After I graduated, I worked as a customer service representative for six months. In that job, I used to respond to customers' queries through phone calls and emails.

When the pandemic started, I worked as an online ESL teacher where I was tasked to teach English to Chinese and Japanese students at any age and level. Moreover, I have a total of 5 years of experience in the teaching industry both online and offline. 

I enjoy reading, doing sports and exercise, and playing video games in my leisure time. I like discovering the world so I usually go traveling when I have the opportunity to do so. I am a passionate, kind, attentive, active, and hardworking teacher. I always make sure to impart values to my students to make the lesson discussion worthwhile.
