Maximilien De La Gastine

I am a software engineer graduated from ISEP in Paris, passionate about building practical, reliable, and well-designed digital solutions. After several impactful experiences at companies such as Intel and Ekinops, combined with numerous personal software projects, I am now launching my freelance activity to support clients with custom development, mobile applications, and engineering services.

What motivates me the most is turning real problems into concrete, efficient solutions. I enjoy understanding a need, analyzing constraints, designing a clear technical approach, and delivering a stable product that is maintainable and long-lasting. My experience ranges from mobile development to web interfaces and custom tools. Personal projects—such as a full duplicate-MP3 detection application with hashing and metadata analysis, or an Android platform for a student organization with secured administrator access—have strengthened my proficiency in architecture, UX, and end-to-end development.

During my apprenticeship at Intel, I worked on an AI-based audio recognition system to assess the environmental quality of the Paris 2024 Olympic Village. This included data collection, model experimentation, hardware performance benchmarking (CPU/GPU/NPU), and deployment testing using Python, OpenVINO, Docker, and Linux.

At Ekinops, I gained experience working across international teams, troubleshooting a large web application, configuring Linux environments, and building monitoring dashboards using Grafana and Prometheus.

Beyond technology, my long-term involvement in scouting—15 years including 5 years as assistant leader and 4 years as chief leader—taught me leadership, team coordination, organization, and responsibility. This translates directly into my work ethic: clear communication, reliability, autonomy, and project ownership. Managing the full renovation of an old house further strengthened my project-management and follow-up skills.

As a freelancer, my objective is to deliver real value quickly, propose relevant and scalable solutions, and collaborate efficiently. I’m curious, adaptable, and always motivated to tackle new challenges.
