Mauricio Herrerabarria

Journalist, writer, and media producer currently based in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal. With more than ten years of experience in print/digital media, television, broadcast radio, and podcast—mostly covering the arts, although I'm pretty comfortable running the whole gamut—under my belt, I'm passionate about establishing long-term relationships with a broad audience through a good communication strategy which, if combined with engaging content that's both entertaining and informative, works as the perfect formula to establish a brand or a product in the competitive market of today. As a producer, my motto is, "Make it work." Experience has taught me to make the most out of any situation, and that sometimes an issue can morph into an opportunity if approached the right way. Although my professional experience has always leaned towards the Arts & Culture, I'm curious enough to cover pretty much anything—as long as there is a story to tell or a message to put across, count me in.
