2016 – Present – Freelance Digital Marketing. Javea, Spain.
Towards the end of 2016 I made the step to work entirely freelance. I made this move to give me the opportunity to work with a more varied client base and focus more on my digital marketing strengths.
Campaigns of note.
Calming Breath (UK) - Set up and ran Black Friday and Cyber Monday Facebook Ad Campaigns during November/December 2016. Deploying multiple adsets, in multiple languages with a budget of £8,000
Infinigrow (Israel) - Marketing Consultancy on this Marketing as a Service platform. Infinigrow is an Artificial Intelligence marketing planning platform, designed to act as an AI led marketing co-pilot.
Footbalance Arabia (Dubai) - Facebook Ads campaigns and Hubspot driven email marketing in the run up to the Arab Health exhibition in Dubai in 2017
Man v Fat (UK) – Facebook Ad campaign for a English Football Association initative that encourages over weight men to join organised leagues in their area. We grew the page from 50 to nearly 8,000 likes and opened leagues throughout the UK.
Eralis Software (Canada) - Setting up, designing and deploying a full online ad buy across the major online advertising platforms for Eralis' relaunch after merger and to promote it's cooperation with SAP.
Oxygen Yoga Studio (Canada) - Setting up, designing and deploying Facebook Ad campaigns for multiple yoga studios across Canada
I Want To Meet You (Spain) A leading Spanish dating site for ex-pats. Increased uptake on the site 35% in one quarter thanks to combination of Adwords, Display Network Ads, Re-Targeting, PR and email marketing.
SuperFly Skateboards (USA) - Marketing consultancy / SEO with an established power seller on eBay and established FBA seller of skateboard equipment who were looking to establish a chain of Shopify Stores to diversify from their reliance on eBay and Amazon.
DCC / The Panel Company (UK) Social Media Marketing / SEO / Content Marketing. DCC / The Panel Company are the leading stockists of wall panels in the UK. During the project we opened up new traffic sources through organic strategies for the company websites.
2015 – 2016 – SEO and Digital Marketing Lead for Buscadom Property Portal, Javea, Spain.
This role saw me create a new team of developers and salesforce to create a property portal that would attract paying clients within 6 months. We kicked off the project on December 1st 2015 and the website was launched on 1st March 2016. I was responsible for guiding the project through its stealth mode before launch. Working with in house and remote teams on all branding, marketing, advertising and IT development of the platform. I also took personal responsibility to drive the SEO of the site which saw the site go from anonymity to a number of page one rankings for key property related search terms within 12 weeks. The site ranked higher than established brand names such as RightMove, Kyero and Zoopla. In addition I was responsible for the content marketing of the project, creating native ads, running Facebook ad campaigns and all Social Media channels. It was also within my remit to sell the product to early adopters and to diversify the company to seek out new clients out with the property sector. Upon launch I created our user acquisition funnels and clients acquisition funnels, ran the paid media campaigns on Google, Bing and Facebook and direct email marketing campaigns and sold the product to early adopters.
2014 -2015: Account Management & SEO Analyst for idomomobi, Javea, Spain.
Idomomobi provided online software, websites and marketing services to estate agents in Spain and the UK.
I was headhunted by the idomomobi founders to accelerate their growth in the local market and capture local and national clients for the business. When I joined the company there were only 3 clients and we grew that to nearly 20 in one year. Because of my previous experience in digital marketing I oversaw SEO, Adword, Social Media, direct email and content marketing campaigns of the idomomobi website and around 12 individual clients and overall account management for the other clients. I took full control of the online marketing efforts of the company and created various successful campaigns to promote the company and develop new partnerships. I used my previous knowledge of agile project management within this new business to ensure strong growth and high levels of communication across the local and internationally based team.
-: Business Development / SEO Analyst for UltraIT, Javea, Spain.
UltraIT provided online software, websites and marketing services to estate agents in Spain, Portugal, Dubai and the UK.
My main roles were to proactively seek new business opportunities, build new and maintain relationships with key clients and professional sector contacts, identify opportunities to improve our product portfolio, keeping up to date with market changes & competitor analysis, liaising with internal departments to drive initiatives, including product design and marketing, constantly striving to improve service levels by challenging existing processes and practices, ensuring that the pipeline business was proactively managed and also representing the company at relevant corporate events. A major part of my job was also managing in excess of 20 separate SEO & Adword campaigns for various real estate companies throughout Spain, Portugal and the UK. These SEO & Adword campaigns were in multiple languages and in highly competitive search environments. I created, developed and managed Social Media strategies, email campaigns and bespoke affiliate marketing strategies for real estate agents, increasing engagement and enquires to these companies.
-: UK Tender/Bid Manager/Marketing Analyst for Business Consulting Centre, Poznan, Poland.
As Tender Manager, I was the pre-Contract Project Manager responsible for identifying prospective tenders, managing the pursuit of identified prospects on behalf of the Company. I planned and managed the execution of all the tendering activities necessary to win the tenders, whilst complying with the Company's processes and procedures. I was responsible for the timely preparation and submission of technically sound, compliant, achievable, and commercially viable proposals that were responsive to client requirements and in accordance with Company objectives and procedures. A major part of this role was writing and proofing the tenders.
2008 – 2012: Website Designer/ SEO Analyst / Account Manager for Jam-Media Poznan, Poland.
This was my own startup company that I operated with my business partner. We designed be-spoke websites, online marketing campaigns and web applications across a range of platforms for clients from nearly every business sector, from heavy industry to property development, from large scale print companies to IT outsourcers. I was responsible for all business activities, hiring of specialists, contact with clients, financial planning and reporting, SEO operations, including Analysis and Reporting, website delivery, email campaigns, after sales services and some website designing.
