I am a graduate of Proofread Anywhere's "General Proofreading: Theory and Practice" course which has allowed me to become trained in the Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS). I also have experience working in APA format for academic papers. I primarily use CMOS and Merriam-Webster's Dictionary for my proofreading work, but am open to whatever style or format you prefer. My preferences include working with fiction authors, travel documents/blogs, and medical documents/blogs.
I am currently a full-time teacher and athletic trainer at a high school in north Texas. However, I can easily commit 10-15 hours per week toward my proofreading business and am committed to giving you an accurate timeframe for completion of all jobs.
I was born and raised in a small community in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I learned valuable lessons about sense of community and the importance of helping others achieve their goals, and I look forward to bringing these values into my business today. My "small-town hospitality" will shine in my communications and work, making sure your goals are met.
