Thesis project focused on creating a surficial geological siting index. Consisted of soil and aggregate sampling, lab testing, researching, slope analysis, Atterberg Limits , and ArcGIS work. GIS Contractor 2017 - Present Produced detailed maps from GPS collected data. Formatted maps to also be used in Adobe Illustrator. Used and altered pre-existing shape files as well as created my own. Provided deliverables such as topographic and infrastructure maps. Inland Concrete Student Researcher May-August 2014 May-August 2015 Effectively researched glacial deposits in Saskatchewan, focusing on an area around Saskatoon. Produced a detailed report and presentation at the end of the summer with promising results. Obtained experience working with a geologist on a drilling rig coring sediment. Acquired knowledge of the aggregate business from experts in the field. Initiated and maintained research contacts in the required areas. Acquired lab testing experience with tests such as lightweight, sieve, and ironstone. Acquired field testing experience with backhoe pits. Sask.
