WORKING EXPERIENCE
Buses Vule
(June 2020 - September 2024)
Operation optimization analyst and developer
Through an in-depth analytical study of the data and processes in the planning value chain, the
following results was achieved:
- Algorithm for the generation of logical electric buses, giving outputs such as the minimum
number of buses required, number of chargers and power required
- Heuristic algorithm for assigning logical schedules to drivers based on full-time/part-time and
behavioral criteria
- Algorithm for the creation of optimal logical schedules (trip sequences), where the weekly
base was at 16,000 trips; achieving an increase in efficiency by 10 percentage points
- Heuristic algorithm to assign free Sundays per month to drivers, reducing the time to obtain
results to 2%
Citymovil
(May 2018 - May 2020)
Development Engineer
With the aim of obtaining more reliable, diverse and on-line data and information on urban public
transportation in order to improve its control and the quality of its services, the goals obtained were:
- Development and implementation of artificial intelligence algorithms in IoT technologies
- Integration of hardware and development of automatic functions in the project “People
counter in public transport”
Departamento de Ingeniería Industrial y SmartCity Lab. USACH
(December 2016 - April 2018)
Project and Research Engineer
In the dynamic space of a multidisciplinary research center, in addition to the multiple sectors of
interest, the following were achieved:
- Generation of a mathematical model for the creation of bus and driver schedules for a
passenger land transportation company
- Collaboration in the development of the study “Hacia un observatorio de los Oficios en
Telecomunicaciones en una Sociedad Digital” (in english: “Towards an observatory of
Telecommunications Careers in the Digital Society”)
Universidad de Santiago de Chile
(August - October 2016)
Co-Researcher
Given the study of the state of the art and the hypotheses generated by the research on production
systems the obtained goal was:
- Development of experiments and implementation of algorithms for USA1498 project
