Mateus Lins

I am a self-taught developer who has founded a medical prescription app and turned it into a 15 employee business by himself. This app was developed as a progressive web app using Ionic Framework, Angular.js, Node.js, Firebase, HTML, CSS, Sass, and TypeScript. I have also hired, trained, and coordinated a 5 developer team to help work on this app. It has become one of the best medical prescription apps in Brazil, reducing in 90% the risk of medical errors and in at least 30% prescription time when compared to other apps.

I am also currently finishing a Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, currently doing research in computational models to mitigate cataract surgery prediction errors. In this role, I lead a 3 developer team and a 10+ medical students team, coordinating a 5000+ patient database digitization and treatment. Most of the job is done in Python, using scientific libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, and Scikit-learn.

I am a proactive, results-oriented, organized, and collaborative person, with strong leadership and communication - both written and spoken - skills, and am eager to find exciting and challenge remote work opportunities.
