Mary Zhayne De Los Santos

My name is Mary Zhayne De los Santos, a 19-year-old student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English. I consider myself a hardworking, motivated, and adaptable individual who is eager to grow both personally and professionally. While I am still a student, my academic journey and past experiences have given me valuable skills that I believe will help me contribute effectively in any workplace.

I graduated from ICI Iligan, where I had the opportunity to develop not only my knowledge but also my sense of responsibility and discipline. During my time there, I completed my On-the-Job Training at Plaza Alemania Hotel, where I gained hands-on experience in housekeeping and bartending. This training taught me the importance of attention to detail, customer service, and teamwork. I also developed a strong work ethic and learned how to adapt quickly to new environments and challenges.

In addition to my OJT, I also had the opportunity to work in different companies such as Quennie Lending Corporation, 2GO Express, and Q Credit Express. These experiences gave me practical skills in customer service, time management, and communication. I learned how to interact with people from different walks of life, handle responsibilities under pressure, and complete tasks efficiently. My experience as a field collector also improved my confidence and ability to face challenging situations with patience and professionalism.

As a future educator, I am passionate about learning and sharing knowledge. I chose to study Secondary Education major in English because I believe that teaching is not just a profession but also a calling. I want to inspire students and help them build a strong foundation in both academics and values. My academic journey continues to shape my communication, leadership, and organizational skills, which I aim to apply in any professional role I take on.
