Mary O'neill

I am an outdoorsy tree nerd that also has a knack for finding grammatical errors. I have a decade of experience working at the municipal and state levels in forestry and conservation. I have created, written, edited and proofread many documents, plans, reports and fact sheets related to community forestry and conservation. I have a master's degree in natural resources as well as a bachelor's degree in communications. I know how to work hard and achieve goals. I got my master's degree in my early thirties after being out of school for 10 years. I love a good challenge and I am looking to give myself some more freedom in my work. I enjoy what I do, but I also would like to start transitioning to more of a "desk job" so that I can work out of my home. I am currently working my way through the Proofread Anywhere online course and I am also a volunteer proofreader with Distributed Proofreaders. I would love to find work related to forestry, conservation and natural resources as I have an existing knowledge base and I enjoy being a caretaker of the environment.
