Before pursuing freelance work, I worked as a Documentation Assistant at a real estate firm in an on-site role. Here, I was tasked with producing required documents for projects, confirming that all documents were correct and delivered to respective departments within deadlines. I also corrected data entry problems, attended to client complaints and questions efficiently and professionally, and served as the initial contact person for agents and clients. Through this role, my organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities were perfected, setting me up for working remotely.

In 2017, I entered the freelance market as an Account Receivable (AR) Specialist. My responsibilities in this position included processing claims, checking insurance eligibility statuses, searching for and solving billing problems, handling denials, and posting payments. As a result of this job, I became skilled in EHR/EMR systems and had an excellent eye for detail, keeping everything accurate from start to finish.

In 2019, I became a Data Entry Specialist, further establishing my proficiency in administrative assistance. My duties involved entering data into company databases, checking the validity of source documents before entering patient information, sending email reminders about patient billing and status, and producing reports and summaries from input data. I also interacted with other departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain data integrity.

Being a full-time mom has been one of the best choices I've ever made. It has enabled me to balance childcare while continuing my professional pursuits via telecommuting. My career transition from on-site to telecommuting data entry and administrative support specialist shows my flexibility, hard work, and dedication to providing quality output on all tasks.
