Marvin Camansi

Hello, my name is Marvin Camansi but you can call me "Maggie." I finished Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education major in English back in university. Whilst being a student, I was also a part-time admin stuff in a startup call center in our small hometown. I had worked for that company from 2011 to 2014 before I landed a job in an online school as an English teacher. I have worked for this school from 2015 until the end of 2018 since I needed to focus on my studies. Now that I finished university a couple of months back, I want to explore more job opportunities related to my expertise. Teaching is indeed my passion. I love seeing students learn and improve in their academic endeavors. English isn't my native language and just like any other English learners, I had experienced the hardships and difficulties in mastering the language before I became fluent at it. Hence why, teaching a language to young minds isn't going to be a problem for me since I was once i their shoes and I am confident that I am equipped with techniques and teaching styles to help the students Over the years of teaching second-language speakers online, I come up with a realization that student learn better if they are not being threatened or scared by the teacher. A healthy and conducive learning environment is definitely one of the factors for better learning.
