Marta António

I’m Marta António, a Portuguese multimedia designer based in Ílhavo, with a strong passion for transforming ideas into meaningful visual experiences.

Over the past several years, I have developed my career around creativity, precision, and the desire to communicate effectively through design. My approach blends aesthetic sensitivity with strategic thinking, ensuring that every project I create is both visually engaging and purpose-driven.

I hold a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design from the Universidade da Beira Interior. This academic background provided me with a solid foundation in digital design, visual communication, and multimedia production. During my studies, I also contributed to Muslan, a university publication, where I was responsible for creating multimedia content and visual materials that enhanced editorial storytelling.

Since 2022, I have been working as a freelance designer, collaborating with various clients, including Memory Box Portugal. My freelance work has allowed me to grow as an independent professional, managing projects from concept to final delivery, and adapting to different creative challenges. I specialize in brand identity, social media design, and visual communication, helping brands express their essence through cohesive and captivating design solutions.

I’m proficient in both Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects) and the Affinity tools (Photo, Designer, Publisher). My working style is organized, detail-oriented, and guided by a perfectionist eye for balance and harmony. Alongside technical skills, I value clear communication, time management, and client collaboration.

I’m fluent in Portuguese, with intermediate English and basic Spanish, and I’m always eager to learn, explore new trends, and connect with people who appreciate thoughtful, creative design.
