Marry Elordy Maon

Hello, my name is Marry-a third-year nursing student at the University Of Makati. I have been tutoring Science, English, Filipino, Araling Panlipunan, MAPEH, and Mathematics for the last six years to students studying in 1st Grade up to 9th grade and almost a year for Anatomy and Physiology to students of Level 1 in BS in Nursing. I recently completed my first and second years of nursing school, so I am quite familiar with the curriculum and what students need to know. This enables me to become a dependable person who can help nursing students grow and deliver predictable outstanding accomplishment outcomes.

Of course, I also give well-rounded tutoring in a variety of academic subjects, which encouraged and helped my primary and secondary students in improving their test results and maintaining a stable and consistent high GWA.

With that being said, I consider myself a knowledgeable tutor who has worked with students of varying abilities and tailored my tutoring style and technique to each individual, wherein I find myself a caring teacher who is comforting and helps them not be overwhelmed with the topics that we are discussing in our tutoring session by encouraging my students to ask questions, take risks, and overcome the fear of failure.

My main job is to establish rapport and to provide a pleasant yet stimulating atmosphere for their progress since I don't want my students to think I'm judging or criticizing them; instead, I want them to think I'm encouraging and supporting them all the way.

As a part-time tutor, I assure you that:

• My classes are usually dynamic, full of entertaining activities, and I utilize a variety of teaching techniques, props, flash cards, and game apps for converting students' 'perceived' difficult subjects into simple and enjoyable concepts.
• I am an excellent listener who pays close attention to the needs and difficulties of the students.
• I try to make my lessons relatable, as well as tailoring the teaching technique to each student.



I am familiar with and skilled in utilizing Zoom, Google Meet, Quizziz, Kahoot, Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, Messenger, Facebook, WhatsApp, Viber, Canva, Kahoot, and MS Office so that my students and I can interact or use it for our tutoring sessions.

When it comes to tutoring, I'm really eager and diligent, so I can promise you that your learning needs will be fulfilled through goal setting, appropriate preparation, and teaching. I will include discussion, reading, writing, and assessment into our sessions. In line with your personal needs/abilities/interests, we will utilize enjoyable and fascinating multimedia resources.
