My work included writing articles, social media captions, product descriptions, and general content. Faychu.com/Freelance Writer March 2021 - June 2022, Remote work Faychu was a start-up suite of internet companies that I worked for on a freelance basis. My work included writing articles, conducting interviews and writing the corresponding articles, children’s books, light-hearted items, creating recipes, writing for the e-magazine, product descriptions, and general content. Due to financial considerations, they, unfortunately, had to shut down. During this time, I also wrote some pieces for a UK-based food supplier and a local physiotherapist (these were converted to social media posts by the social media manager). American-based rental property agency/ Freelance writer December 2021, Remote work Their rental properties are in several areas, and I researched and wrote articles showcasing the highlights of the different areas, and descriptions of the properties. This work was outsourced to me by a company employee and was only for a short project. Thomsec / Director 2014- February 2021, Cape Town Thomsec was an SMME that specialized in electronic security. We covered everything from design to installation of all systems, including access control, parking management systems, and smart management. Unfortunately, the lockdown affected the company’s finances as many projects were postponed or cancelled, and many clients went out of business.
