Over the 4 years with the start up venture, I created
the brand and an image that previously never
existed, at the point of joining the company the
product had not really been heard of, now it's one
of the top runners in the field. This came through
extensive networking, introducing the product
globally at conferences and exhibitions also to my
personal network. My responsibilities towards the
project was to manage the development team,
support team, sales team and marketing. Also to
attract and mange partners/re-sellers.
Success came in many forms, increasing visibility
to the point that people knew what software
defined storage was, who LizardFS was. Attracting
major clients like USDA, Orange telecom, Virtu
financial, UCLA, Aarlborg University, Elements,
Gradient Effects, Complete Genomics (BGI), Alior
Bank and many more. As LizardFS is quite open to
working with other solutions, I also worked with
elastic search, sas analytics, proxmox, kubernetes,
docker and various other open source solutions.

and after this I managed hotels/restaurants until I
decided to move to Poland and try something else.

ABOUT ME
Through the years I have gained lots of experience in many sectors,
what this has taught me is that I am able to sell and market anything.
My latest experience involved selling something that is actually free!
bringing on board such clients as USDA, Alior Bank, Orange Polska
and many more. I believe that my greatest assets are being able to
create long lasting relationship with almost everybody on the first
meeting and the ability to train and build a successful sales team.
INTERESTS
Triathlon + Running
Completed Ironman triathlon in 2016 after 6 months of
intensive training, multiple marathons, countless 1/2 marathons
and 10k runs.
Sailing
Qualified RYA Yacht skipper, did Sydney to Hobart yacht race in
1997, 2nd place in the Magic 25 world championships 1997,
basically love sailing!
Muai Thai
Studied this martial art for over 3 years, definitely the best of all
I have tried
Judo
2nd Dan Black belt, selected to compete in the Commonwealth
games for Scotland (had to withdraw due to injury)

Charity work
We founded startline foundation to encourage a healthier
lifestyle, one community at a time through our triathlon club
WITC. We work with several polish community outreach groups
showing under privileged children various international sports
and teaching them about other cultures.
