Mark Joseph Poquiz

I am currently a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering student at the Philippine State College of Aeronautics and a DOST Merit Scholar. I completed my on-the-job training with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines under the Office of the Assistant Director General for Air Traffic Services, where I assisted with operational support, coordination of flight information, and documentation. At present, I am undergoing my OJT at PAL Express under the Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Department, specifically in Production Planning and Control Services. Through these experiences, I was exposed to real workplace responsibilities such as supporting production schedules, tracking work progress, issuing and managing work orders, and coordinating with different departments. These helped me become more organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in structured and fast-paced environments. Aside from my technical exposure, I have been active in student organizations. I served as Vice President for External Affairs of the PhilSCA Scholar’s Guild and as Team Captain of the PhilSCA Chess Team. These roles helped me develop my communication skills, teamwork, and sense of responsibility. I am also comfortable using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and I have basic knowledge of AutoCAD and programming.
