Hello, my name is Mark.

A little about me: I am a product design and manufacturing engineer with 6 years of experience under my belt. I have worked in the office furniture industry, medical, consumer, and automotive industry dealing with plastics and metals throughout. I live and breathe plastic and tool design in my previous day to day job. I have worked with many injection tool designs and know the proper development of both normal, two-shot, and hybrid over-molded plastic designs. Are you an engineer with experience with injection molded products? If so, approx. how much?

I review/design a variety of plastic products from plastic bumpers to seats. existing designs from Automotive manufacturers (Toyota, Ford, GM...ect) and give both structural design guidance, manufacturability, and tooling direction on customers parts to be a feasible design that we can produce and tool. I have experience with drop/gate locations, mold flows, materials, and of course as mentioned tooling design. Basically, I live and breathe this stuff every day.
