JULY 2012 - JUNE 2013, LONDON, UK
My main two responsibilities were to create, develop and implement a
commercial model for a business idea on which the company spent
millions of pounds across many years. The platform was developed and it
was a successful one as the biggest client from Asia/Pacific zone (which is
the biggest Telco company) moved away from the market leader
(Radian6 - developed by SAP) to our platform. At the time was
accounting for 50% of the total revenue of that office. The platform also
received financial credit from the UK Government for Research &
Development in Social Media (an industry where there are no standards
yet, they're still in progress). The second responsibility was to asses the
agency's digital capability and design a new organizational structure and
processes to improve the existing status and increase productivity. In one
case an application designed by myself and developed and implemented
by the technical team managed to make a 60% saving in the whole
related process (incl.: human resource, financial etc). As well, I designed,
architect and implemented the internal cloud (from hard- to software
level) and the remote cloud infrastructure. And last but not least, concept
and design of a property management system that was pitched to
Delancey and Qatari Royal House which (in the end) bought the London
Olympic Village (500+ mil GBP). The platform was specifically designed
to manage this estate.

This was a project based assignment. Main responsibility was to design
(concept and architecture) the new version of platform which accounts
for 40% of the organization's digital presence and help with the creation
of the organization’s new Digital department. The project included
technical architecture up to the infrastructure level, related
organizational structure and business processes. The last ones defined
together with a Business Analyst. This was a project that came after
years of failures and millions of pounds spent. The architecture created
was brought to life on the technical side by their internal IT team and 100
developers between September 2012 and April 2013. The other part was
the responsibility of their new Digital team which after the project had
the systems and processes in place to run like a proper Digital agency.
The project involved a very efficient way of managing stakeholders
(approx. 100) and requirements and constraints as the organization has
more than 3000 employees in 50 offices across the globe and every
region had their own set of specific requirements and constraints. The
result can be seen here: cambridge.org.
