Marielle Salazar

My name is Marielle Salazar. I am from the Philippines and I have been working online for more than 5 years now. I am a psychology graduate. Before I ventured to freelancing career, I got my licensed as a professional teacher here in the Philippines and got a teaching career in one of the famous computer college in the Philippines. I worked at STI College for more than 5 years. Thereafter, I decided to change my workplace from office-based to home-based and tried freelancing. I have handled different tasks for the past years, from teaching English to Korean, Chinese and Japanese students, corresponding to emails, creating spreadsheets writing and other various tasks.

From my online ESL teaching career, I was able to teach students from the age of 5-60 years old. Their nationalities are Chinese, Korean and Japanese. Most of the time, lesson materials are provided but sometime, I also have to prepare materials depending on the need of the student.

While handling some teaching load in a certain ESL school, I also got another part-time job as a Virtual Assistant. I believe that you should not lay your eggs in one basket. With this thought, I applied as a part-time virtual assistant and handle various tasks from listing items on eBay to responding to clients complaints and queries. I do listing manually or use yabelle and other listing tools, optimize title using title builder and enhance keywords using zik analytic.

I can say that my freelancing career changed my life. I have become more resourceful, independent, humble and reliable. With these experiences, I believe that I can be able to help you and would be a great addition to your company.
