I have over 6 years of experience as a Customer Service Specialist. During this period I was able to hone my skills in dealing with customer issues and baggage at a professional manner. I've dealt with customers for Telecommunication accounts in the UK and Australia, and have dealt with business owners and contractors from Australia when I worked with an Australian-owned and operated online marketplace. I also explored other natures of business and got myself into becoming a Guru for Shopify. I've dealt with merchants and assisted them with their Admin and Technical related queries. Even though it's not part of Gurus job description, I also helped merchants handle some admin and data entry tasks for their website at times.
After awhile of handling customer and SMB concerns, I worked my way up into becoming a Training Coordinator to help the Learning and Management team onboard newly hired employees. I helped make sure that the employees, whether newly hired or tenured, always gets a refresher of the company values and that they live and observe them as they continue working for them. I also make sure that they are well trained regarding product specifics. After a year of being a Training Coordinator, I've then became an Administrative Head who handled the business' government requirements/registrations, procurement needs, payroll and budgeting the funds that will be used to pay for the office space utilities, rent and, office furniture and fittings.
After becoming an Administrative Head, I felt the urge to assist a team and help them nurture their skills so I applied and became a Data Operations Supervisor. I currently have a team with 15 awesome people who are Data Researchers, Encoders and Content Writers. And together, we help the company produce quality products daily and a customer-friendly website for a fast-growing Shopify store.
