Mariama Drame

I'm currently a PhD student at University Virtual of Senegal. Before starting my PhD, I have worked as a machine learning engineer for almost 3 years. I worked at Baamtu, a senegalese startup, where I was working as a machine learning engineer/data scientist mostly focused on NLP for Wolof(a senegalese language) and classic ML problems. I was also at HuggingFace Paris, where I worked on the transformer and dataset libraries. There I also worked on a project related to poetry generation using GPT2. I did an internship at Facebook AI Research London. My internship project was on NLP. I graduated from the African Master in Machine Intelligence, Rwanda, with a Very Good Pass.

Before starting my machine learning career, I was a software engineer. I go my bachelor degree in computer science in 2016 with Good Pass
