Personal Profile:
I have a range of redeeming qualities which make me the ideal candidate for this job. I have
always been ambitious, never stepping down from a challenge, organized, a quality which past
employers have been impressed by, and most importantly, committed.
Education:
Previous education includes having completed the International Baccalaureate at the
International School of Luxembourg, earning a total of 33 points (duration of program:-). My higher level classes were: Chemistry, Biology and French B. The standard level
classes were: English A, Mathematics and Geography. Following this, I completed a year of
Geography in Lund University (2016) where I learned how to use advanced computer programs
which involved a great deal of statistical analysis and mathematics. I have also recently
graduated from a three year English degree from University College Cork.
Work Experience:
I worked a full day from 8 am till 4 pm as a Kindergarten teacher in the International School of
Luxembourg. This meant that I was supervising the children during their playtime, both inside
and outside on the patio, as well as looking after them during lunch hours making sure they were
2
eating a good amount. I also supervised their nap times and helped them come up with creative
ways for completing their homework.
Moreover, I worked as an Administrator in Lower School in the International School of
Luxembourg. This was primarily for work experience. My job included sorting files, organizing
events, creating timetables for teachers and answering important emails. I worked there during
the first week of July of 2015 and 2016. My work experience there allowed me to push my limits
and work under time constraints. I also learned how to multitask and how to be as efficient as
possible.
I also worked in the International School of Luxembourg in May, June and September of 2019. I
worked as a library assistant in Lower School. This entailed shelving books in their correct place,
helping out students locate them as well as check in and out their books. The full day was from
8am till 16pm. I learned a lot about the school’s data system and how to treat books the right way
(binding them, stamping them with the school logo and so on).
Skills and Achievements:
I am fluent in three languages: English, Spanish and French. Having lived in a country where
there are three official languages (French, German, and Luxembourgish) has made me appreciate
diversity and different cultures.
3
I have travelled to South Korea alone. I organized the entire trip and it was the first time
traveling to a different continent all by myself. I managed my time efficiently during my stay and
learned how to resolve problems in a quick, and calm manner.
Furthermore, I use Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other computer programs with great ease. This
is mostly due to using them during the International Baccalaureate for internal and external
assessments as well as in my first year of geography in Lund University where it was very
heavily used.
Hobbies and Interests:
I cook all of my meals so I would consider my level of cooking to be quite elevated. I enjoy
healthy foods and I always make sure that I am getting a good amount of vegetables and fruits
throughout my day.
I enjoy reading immensely. My favorite authors being Kate Chopin, Edgar Allan Poe, H.P
Lovecraft and so on. My biggest influence is my dad since he is an English teacher and always
emphasized reading as a way of acquiring knowledge and language skills.
The well-being of the environment is of great importance to me as it implicates all of us, it is a
unifying force. I was part of an environmental group while studying in The International School
of Luxembourg and later went on to study Environmental Sciences in Lund University.
4
I was also involved in choir from the ages of 10 till 18, allowing me to travel to Vienna for
competitions.
