Maria Monge

After a 4-year experience in Consulting, Project Management and Communication, I am excited to apply my skills in Marketing and Communication abroad. I finished my Master in Marketing & Communication in France and during my experience I achieved an internship in a retail company where I acquired solid skills in marketing and communication with the latest trends and best practices. Among different tasks, I supported the International Managers to supervise the partners around the world in their marketing campaigns. I created and adapted different texts and visuals including billboards, press artworks, look books, as well as, digital communication (emailings and social media) to the different markets.

My previous experience as a Communication Assistant at CEA, enabled me to elaborate the editorial content for CEA website and newsletter and to work in events organization with the U.S. Embassy in Bogota, Colombian Government, and CEOs of American Companies, all which involved communicating effectively with various levels of seniority.

Furthermore, my experience in consulting at Deloitte, enabled me to develop organizational, strategic thinking and analytical skills. Participating in various consulting projects in different industries, such as the assistance in the strategy implementation of Valorem Group (the largest holding company group in Colombia) enabled me to analyze specific data and support the evaluation of positioning of the Group, bringing recommendations for the top management of the company.

Finally, my background as an international student in the United States and France, as well as my work in international teams, helped me to develop communication skills and open-minded set relating with people of different cultures, in both, academic and professional context. My passion for languages and culture had led me to be proficient in three languages. These experiences contributed to develop a special awareness of cultural diversity as an enhancer of innovative solutions. 

As described above, my different but fulfilling experiences driving me to emphasize my interest to work as a Freelancer and work for companies with dynamic environments and challenging international objectives.
