CAREER PROFILE
Pursued her MBA degree from De La Salle University and obtained her undergraduate degree from the
University of the Philippines, with a degree of B.S. Food Technology.
In order to serve the industry as Supply Chain Business Management Consultant she endeavored to finish
certification courses related to Supply Chain Management. Just recently she received the Six Sigma Master
Black Belt Certification from International Six Sigma Institute, located in Switzerland via distance-learning.
She also acquired certifications on Supply Chain Management, namely Procurement and Logistics
Certificate Course accredited by Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Warehousing and
Inventory Management Pilot Certificate accredited by World Shipping Institute, Certificate in
Procurement Management (Supply Chain) provided by UK Professional Academy.
Nonetheless, the call for food safety training and consultancy services remained part of her mission in the
food industry. After completing some seminar certification courses, she has been a recognized and
Certified Servsafe Instructor by National Restaurant Association, USA, Certified Food Safety Compliance
Officer- accredited by DOH Philippines, Certified HACCP Manager by National Environmental Health
Association, USA, and she received her Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering, from Chartered Institute
of Environmental Health (CIEH) UK., Certified Food Safety Auditor by Canadian Food Safety Institute.
Through her Internal Auditor Certificate, which she acquired from International Food Safety and Quality
Network (IFSQN), Academy in UK, she is able to serve as Consultant-Auditor to food establishments
preparing for food safety audit.
She is equipped with technical, managerial, training and project management skills and experience which
she gained from the food manufacturing industry. She has more than fifteen (15) year-experience in
handling production operations, quality control, research and development, maintenance, purchasing,
warehouse and logistics operations, with her prime years in different food companies as Plant Operations
Manager. During these times, she supported Total Quality Management initiatives such as strict
adherence to quality, continuous improvement, suggestion and feedback system, waste management
system, implementation of workplace organization and orderliness (5S) and Kaizen; as well as
implementation of productivity and lean manufacturing concepts in order to support the firms’ objectives
on financial and environment sustainability.
She has more than 10 year-experience in conducting public and in- house seminars on Corporate
Management topics namely: cGMP, Food Safety, 5S, TQM, Kaizen, Project Management, Purchasing
Management, Warehouse /Inventory Management.
She joined some organizations that support her career objectives, namely: Philippine Association of Food
Technologists, Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines and Project Management
Institute. Just recently, she joined the Procurement and Supply Institute of Asia (PASIA) in order to
broaden her network in supply chain.
Her personal mission is to support the SME’s, especially those in the food industry in improving their
business operations. Now, during the pandemic, she aspires to reach out to students and entrepreneurs
by sharing relevant management principles and experiences to maneuver their businesses and
organizations.
