Maria is a geologist with 20 years of experience specialized in geological databases (SQL GDB from
Minescape) and Torque (Minesight), and modelling sedimentary/stratiform deposits. Her main background is
coal but has been exposed to other sedimentary deposits such as lateritic ores and limestone. Her experience
has been gathered in different scenarios: Government of Colombia (Ecocarbón), Operation (Cerrejon Mine,
Colombia), shared services (Anglo Coal, South Africa) and consultancy (Snowden, South Africa).
