As an architect, my expertise is in both estimating and interior design.
I've successfully managed the bidding process for a General Contractor, consistently tracking proposals and securing the best subcontractors for over six projects, some from 8 to 30 stories tall in Brooklyn and Manhattan. This was all done remotely, showcasing my ability to manage complex projects from a distance.
My work in estimating involved meticulous document management, comprehensive plan reviews, and detailed quantity take-offs across more than 50 different scopes. This gave me a deep understanding of U.S. construction practices, including materials, specifications, and industry standards. I maintained constant communication with subcontractors, architects, and engineers to manage revisions, RFIs, and submittals, ensuring the project's success.
In addition to my estimating work, I have a strong background in interior design, having successfully completed over 10 independent projects for both residential and commercial clients. My skills include creating detailed architectural plans, 3D models, and renderings that effectively communicate a project's unique design and specifications.
This dual experience has given me a complete understanding of a project's lifecycle: from initial design concepts, deliverables and client management to the pre-constructions requirements, final construction and interior finishes. My knowledge has consistently resulted in high client satisfaction, seamless collaboration with project managers, and the successful completion of projects without major setbacks.
