Hello!
I am software / database architect who has a lot of experiences with backend software development, database systems, micro-services, performance analysis and performance optimization.
I have worked since 2004 for 7 years as Senior Technical Consultant for Infor and participated in many international projects mainly focusing on relational data transformation to OLAP systems.
Since 2012 I was a Bottleneck Team Lead in an international team responsible for software analysis and implementation of performance improvements on various platforms (mostly C/C++, Java & DBs).
Since 2013 I became a member of a team that develops Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) management web service used by a company with 5000+ employers, Amazon WebServices (Java API) expert.
Since 2015 I worked in Elance which later became part of Upwork as a member of team responsible for time tracking and reporting backend services. I have designed and implemented ETL services mainly in Java (dropwizard) with Vaadin UI. Designed relational db structure for reporting and also time tracking. From 2018 till Feb 2020 leading the team.
I like well sized scrum teams that can focus on work effectively. I enjoy and like to utilize the potential of my teammates. And the same I do with resources I use (database can usually work much better than one expects if used correctly). I like helping other teammates to improve what we do and I like learning to do things better. So I don’t like random management ideas based on … need to produce some idea that looks good on a spreadsheet even if it is just a collection of randomly selected aws services ;-) .
Favorite db: Postgres despite of poor partitioning support (this is getting better each version))
Favorite programing language: Java, it is simple and does the job
Favorite OS: Linux
