I am a DevOps and Site Reliability Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in IT, combining a strong background in traditional infrastructure with the last 6+ years fully dedicated to cloud, automation, and modern DevOps practices. My journey started with on-premises environments, where I managed large-scale datacenter operations, Windows and Linux servers, networking, and virtualization. Over time, I transitioned to cloud-native technologies, gaining deep expertise across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
My specialization is building scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructures. I have extensive hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible, designing reusable modules and ensuring version-controlled, auditable environments. I also focus strongly on CI/CD automation, having created and optimized pipelines with GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions, supporting everything from infrastructure deployments to application delivery.
I am highly experienced with containerization and orchestration, using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, and on-prem solutions). I design resilient clusters with proper RBAC, observability, and cost optimization, ensuring high availability for mission-critical applications. In addition, I have worked on serverless architectures with AWS Lambda and Azure Functions, leveraging event-driven workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational overhead.
Monitoring and observability are key parts of my work. I have built complete stacks with open-source tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, OpenTelemetry, and Zabbix, while also managing enterprise platforms like Datadog, Dynatrace, and New Relic. My approach is always proactive: designing meaningful dashboards, setting actionable alerts, and applying automation for remediation when possible.
Throughout my career, I have also taken on leadership roles, including as an SRE Lead at NTT Data, an Infrastructure Lead at Ciranda Cultural, and IT Manager at Databras. In these roles, I guided teams, established best practices, mentored engineers, and ensured alignment between technology and business objectives. I strongly believe in documentation and knowledge sharing, and I frequently use Confluence and similar tools to create clear, structured materials for both technical and non-technical audiences.
