Self-taught IT Hardware and Software Skills

As an hobby I have constantly enjoyed building and adapting computers.
It is without effort that I have navigated and troubleshooted both hardware and
software issues with machines since DOS 3.1 and have tried all versions of
Windows.
I have more recently built a cryptocurrency mining-capable computer
composed of different GPU's and using a Linux-based OS (HiveOS) for the
challenge of it, given I had never attempted it. All components were of my
choice and all the setup and troubleshooting was done by myself. The main
feature of it is that it is self-sufficient in the sense that it has been automated
enough to the point where if something is wrong, it will notify me on my phone,
if there is a power shortage, it will self-start and manages some parameters on
an automated basis set by myself.
I have also given some time to GO coding language but due to the lack of
available time, I am in a very embrionary stage.
I am still very fascinated by IT, by mobile software and some of the challenges
that AI will present in the following years, but most importantly, I am confident
that that same AI will be able to solve relevant issues in our daily lives and it's
up to this generation to start dreaming and implementing the solutions required
to do so.

employer. I remained having the same responsabilities as before, however
with the addition of a few direct supervisors leaving, which led to gathering

At this transition time, many challenges were obvious and a constant
professional attitude was tested on a daily basis to ensure that the image of
the new born Company was not affected by the destination of the previous

Being the middleman between the Tour Operator and the Destination. All
the necessary arrangements for high-end costumers such as Villas, Private
Transfers, High-end Hotels, REP support and the small details that make a

An interesting professional experience, considering the Company offers tailormade programs for specific groups (corporate), has high profile costumers
such as Professional Football players and CEO's and therefore a much higher
than average demand when it comes to the level of service provided.
I was able to assist in various tasks beyond booking reservations, one that
I'm most proud of where I was asked to create from scratch a schedule for a
Japanese Company that was visiting Portugal for the first time. I introduced the
group to a viniard and wine production tour at a time where this was merely
a pioneer project. Not only the ideas were received with much satisfaction,
I believe I helped to establish a new network for my own Company in future
programs.

I worked closely with the Marketing team in elaborating the Tour Guide Books
that are distributed in all Tourism Infomation Posts throughout the Region.
This experience was decisive at a later stage thanks to the network of people
and organizations I got to work with, creating strong personal bonds that would
see me working together with them years later.
