TOTAL MEDICAL ASSISTANCE S.A
Managing Area
General Manager
Main Duties:
Perform all the international negotiations to obtain a complete line of
cardiovascular products, medical equipment, and surgical items. These
negotiations were held for more than a year and were focused in the United
States, Italy, Germany, India and Malaysia. As a result we obtain for
Colombia the exclusive representation of the following line of products Cobe
Cardiovascular Inc (oxygenators for open heart surgery, arterial filters and
tubing) , Stockert (cannulas for open heart surgery), Infinium Medical (
Diagnostic medical equipment), as the most representative ones.
Organize all the import, storage and distribution of selected products making
the research to define the form of transportation, the tariff schedule, and the
customs requirements, with the objective of reducing the costs by making
strategic alliances with various companies generating a significant reduction
in the import costs of products.
Make a market research of each of the imported products in Colombian and
Latin American countries to determine the best marketing plan in order to
introduce and consolidate the products identifying the competitors and the
size and perspective of the market for the upcoming years.
Establish and design the marketing strategy for the different products by
negotiating sales agreements with different medical centers in the country
along with the purchase managers of the clinics and hospitals. To implement
that plan we established a network of perfusionists in every city in the
country and invent a system of incentives for institutions and physicians who
consume our products. As a result of this strategy the company had a
significant growth in sales from its first year getting to USD 500,000 in its
third year. After that the increase was not quite amazing. We introduced new
product lines as cannulaes and autotransfusion machines something
revolutionary to the market at that time.
Organize all the administrative, financial and marketing areas and strategies
of the company.
I hire the outsourcings to develop key tasks in the company as accounting,
financial audit, the legal counselor and the import of goods

MOG CONSULTING
General Director.
As the general director my job was to evaluate various investment proposals
by analyzing the economic sector, the market share of a company and
their strengths compared with their competitors in order to determine if there
would be a chance that a foreign investment company could be interested
in becoming an investor or a partner. I have to study the marketing plan of
the company to present my remarks according to the perspectives of each
economic sector.
Part of my job was to search for foreign investors interested in becoming
partners of the evaluated companies.
This company was in a consolidation phase of its activity.
January 2009 – December 2011.

RIOACHA LIMPIA E.S.P.
Partner. Financial Advisor.
Along with a group of professionals we made the financial analysis of the
Project, the projected cash flow for 20 years and the sensibility analysis to
determine whether it was profitable or not. We discuss the legal and
operational parameters required by the City of Riohacha with the group of
legal advisers. I start the political negotiations with the mayor, city council
and the staff members. I also make the international marketing of the project
based on the economic models made in order to procure an international
investor to enter as the funding partner.
The project was structured completely on its technical, legal and financial
parts. Political negotiation was conducted successfully with the staff we
made previous agreements with the international partner.
Unfortunately this public bid was suspended by financial viability and legal
problems existing with the previous waste management company.
