Experience Details :
My total experience till date is THIRTY years, Which includes experience in ITES, software development, Project Management and onsite experience as well.
1. At present involved in Consulting for GIS, GPS, Software development, web and Mobile App development.
2. (July 2012 to April 2014) I am working with Network Securities Solutions India Ltd Pune As a Head-GIS, involved in GIS services, Security and Tracking Solutions. My responsibilities covers client development, presale activities, team management and implementation for GIS.
3. Three Years and Eight Months (Nov. 2008 to June 2012)worked with Micro Technologies India Ltd. Pune As a Project Manager-GIS, involved in development of innovative GIS based software, services and City Sanitation Plan. During this period, I had worked for Ashta, Raisen, Khajuraho and Gwalior cities Sanitation Plan. Surveys and Map development for Vehicle Tracking System for our prestigious clients like HPCL, IOCL, ONGC. My responsibilities covers client development, presale activities, team management and implementation for GIS. I was handling survey, GIS and development team of 50 members.
4. Four Years and Four Months (June 2004 to Oct. 2008)worked with Network Securities Solutions India Ltd As a Sr. Software Engineer (Team Lead-GIS) since June 2004 till date. Mainly working on GIS based Application projects for overseas clients. Currently Leading a team of GIS engineers/developers to prepare spatial data/application development/GPS integration for oil rich Brunei Darussalam’s core department as a client using ArcGIS 9.0/9.1 products. Successfully collected/assessed input resources/requirements from various departments onsite. Successfully conducted/conducting hands on GIS technical training for the client onsite.
5. One year (April 2003 to 31st March 2004) worked with Akash Solution As a GIS Professional. During this period I had worked on GIS based projects.
6. One year Two months (Dec. 2001 to 31st March 2003) worked with Suyog GIS (P) Ltd. As GIS Consultant. During this period I had worked on various projects of creating LandBase Information and Digital Map Creation for Telecom Industries like Bharti Teleservices (AirTel), TATA Teleservices (indicom), HUGE Telecom.
7. EIGHT months (May 2001 to Dec. 2001) of Akash Solutions As a VB Programmer worked for Software Development projects for Embedded Systems.
8. Five years and Eight months (Sept. 1995 to May 2001) of Patni Computer Systems Ltd. as Production Officer. During this period I had worked on various GIS based projects for US based clients. Mainly these projects were capturing Tax Parcels for Govt. bodies.
9. Two years and Two months (July 1993 to Aug. 1995) of ICC CADD Centre, Pimpri, Pune as CAD Technician. During this period I worked on various Drawing Conversion projects for Domestic and Overseas clients. These projects were Mechanical Drawings of Petroleum Refineries located at Brunie. Also ExplodedViews of Critical assemblies, General Assembly Drawings, Detailing of Assemblies, and similar processes for Piping projects of Chemtex, who is working for Reliance PetroChemicals for their projects of Hazira, Vareli plants.
CAD/GIS Projects worked on :
1. While working with Patni Computer Systems Ltd. I had worked on GIS (Geographical Information System) based projects. My role was to locate all inputs to Geographical Locations which we received from our client and handle the team of allotted number of members, Scheduling the project tasks to meet delivery date, Taking appropriate decisions at critical points. Keeping track of all Daily activities and so on.
2. While working with Suyog GIS (P) Ltd. I had worked for following projects,
Huges Tele.com(India), Mumbai- This was City Base-Map Digitization, Georeferencing, Edge-Matching and Mossaicing, etc. for 1:1000 scale LandBase development as per the DataModel/Attribution, Output in CAD/Shape file format. This is basically for Telecom related OFC network planning. Platform used AutoCAD Map, MapInfo.
3. Airtel-Bharti Telnet Ltd. Bhopal- This involves GIS based 1:1250 LandBase development including data acquiring/gathering (Topographic Survey)/capturing, data modeling, digitization of Geometry, Georeferencing, EdgeMatching and Mosaicing alongwith Quality Assurance by incorporating Database Attribution as per DataModel which will be compatible to SmallWorld platform.
4. Environmental Analysis of Schools in the state of Jharkhand for Jharkhand Education Project Council : This project involved Environmental Analysis i.e. Physical survey, photographs of schools, Location coordinates, Water testing, Noise and layouts of schools in AutoCAD format. I was responsible for its presale and worked as a technical head for entire project.
5. City Sanitation Plans of Ashta, Raisen, Khajuraho and Gwalior cities of Madhya Pradesh : These are one of the innovative CSPs developed in all india level and were appreciated by Govt. of India. These CSPs were based on GIS technology which was used for its implementation and monitoring purpose. For implementation we developed Mobile Application and for monitoring Web based solution was developed. I was responsible for its concept to implementation.
Development projects worked on :
1. Application for Material Handling system i.e. Screw Conveyor. This system was entirely developed in MS VB with Access and AutoCAD R14. This application was developed to cutdown design time and analyse entire design of equipment. Facility was given to design all parts of equipment, at run-time process. Apart from this report generation of all components with run-time assembly view to watch current status of equipment.
This application was easy to learn and use. With interactive on-line help and informative on screen messages, user will be able to start design process with minimal down time. The applications have built-in error checking which scans user input to ensure design accuracy. This application was a complete GUI system and provides true Windows interface. The conveyor assembly graphic is activity sensitive and is updated each time a component design parameter is changed to visually verify the correctness of the geometry input.
Powerful design and editing tools along with great graphics make design optimization and component selection as easy as clicking the mouse. The input/output screen makes what-if calculations so easy. After ever input change, all design details are updated automatically and instantly to see the results.
2. Application for controlling UPS through software. This application was developed entirely in MS VB with Access. This application was developed to take care of shutdown process and to alert all nodes which are in Network about BackUp time.
3. Application for Automated Digitization for Landbase creation and Parcel Mapping using AutoCAD Map 2.0.This project was to capture plots residential and commercial buildings and integrating Database with it, as per Physical Survey done on-site and as per DataModel/Attribution, Also Routines were developed to control Quality of Digital Map. This application was entirely developed using AutoLisp on CAD platform using backend of MS EXCEL as it is recommended. In any GIS based project, huge amount of Graphical and Textual data is to be process following quality procedures and guidelines given by client, that too in a critical time frame, that too without loosing consistency at any point. This was the main purpose behind developing this application.
4. Spatial GIS Data creation & Application development.
To create several base maps on a large scale and develop applications suitable for the client’s day to day activities & integration with GPS.A GIS data viewer is being developed for the end users of the department. Security aspects of geographic data is also being handled. Using ArcGIS 9.0, Mapobjects 2.3, VB.Net , Arcobjects, VB6.0
My Role was Leading a team of GIS engineers for the creation of spatial data, to develop applications,testing and integration with GPS & providing hands on training at client end.
