I am Mahsun ALTIN, a passionate mathematician and data enthusiast, eager to present an overview of my qualifications and experiences.

Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, my research delves into comprehensive big-data-systems and their architectures. Simultaneously, I hold a dynamic role as a Data Scientist at TurkNet, a prominent telecommunications company in Turkey. Within this position, I've honed expertise in analysis, optimization, and visualization through SQL queries and Tableau, actively contributing to the development of impactful dashboards and MS-SQL Stored Procedures for live systems like Network Monitoring and Customer Detailed Analytics. My involvements extend to diverse domains, encompassing customer churn prediction, ticket time analysis, and large-scale big data initiatives, where I've adeptly utilized tools such as Tableau, ELK, Spark, Django, and Airflow, along with programming languages like Python, C++, and Java.

Prior to my current role, I earned a Computer Engineering degree from AGU with Upper Second Class Honours, engaging in noteworthy projects, including a cross-border Erasmus program with Nokia focused on NLP techniques for parsing job applicants' information and a summer internship at University College Dublin, culminating in a published IEEE Xplore article on advanced machine learning for human action classification.
