I had conducted numerous meetings with the key stakeholders to bring each of them on to the same page about the projects. I manage a team of 6 writers. I am primarily responsible for Doc Release Management, Library Management, and Delivery Management. I also work as a Delivery Manager for my team. My other responsibilities include developing videos, eBooks, Tutorials, and MOOCs for all the products that I work for. I have also helped other teams in developing these UA assets. I also took the initiative of developing documentation for mobile devices and context-sensitive help for Eclipse (customized for the company) and also developed Intellisense. I worked directly with the CEO for these initiatives. I also developed videos and training sessions. I managed a team of 10 writers. RSA, Hyderabad (October 2008 to April 2009) As a Team Lead, I allotted and monitored work to the writers sitting in Hyderabad and Bangalore on a daily basis. I participated and evaluated the writers during the performance appraisal cycle. The writers sitting in Bangalore reported to me through dotted line. I managed a team of 8 writers. SumTotal Systems, Hyderabad (May 2007 to October 2008) I was involved in developing a Knowledge Management Database for the Customer Support team. I designed a decision tree solution to help support the support executives to drill down to the problem and provide solutions to the customers with a quick turnaround. I was awarded the Innovation Award for this project and effort. CA Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad (May 2007 to October 2008) As a Sr. Technical Writer and later a team lead, I devised methodologies for migrating the documents from Adobe FrameMaker to AuthorIT and led this initiative for the whole company. The size of the writing team in the company was 200 at that time and the team was globally distributed. I won the Star Award for this project. I led a small team of 5 writers. I designed training courses for AuthorIT for writers who come on-board. ValueLabs, Hyderabad (May 2007 to October 2008) I was the first technical writer of the company. I educated the whole company about what Technical Writing is, trained the Development Teams and QA Teams about the importance of Technical Writing. I worked on product documentation and marketing collaterals for various clients and prepared short ad films for the newer products.
