Email Campaign Draft - Hirelect
Could We Set Up a meeting? | Protection for (Company Name)
Hi (First Name),
I hope this mail finds you very well! I am reaching out from Hirelect to request a meeting with you to discuss how we might be able to help you mitigate risks and protect you, your loved ones and your business from fraud, theft and embezzlement by performing pre-employment screening of potential hires.
Now you’d ask me, why you would screen. I can share a few reasons below.
Reduce legal exposure: Class action lawsuits for negligent hiring and retention have grown with an average of 20% over the last 5 years.
Increase bottom line: The average cost of retaining, replacing and off boarding an employee was estimated to range from $11,000 to $24,000 by a 2016 Career Builder Survey.
Improved organizational value: Settling a lawsuit not only costs dollars but also your reputation as well as clients.
Isn’t it better to reduce the risk to your goodwill, improve your business insurance premiums through screening, and let potential investors know that you’re committed to quality practices?
Some “background check” companies hide behind an accreditation logo to validate non-transparent practices such as reporting raw data that may contain impermissible information (such as expunged and/or sealed records, arrest records, and more) that you, the employer, can’t legally know.
Hirelect is set apart as our transparent practices follow those established by NAPBS & the background screening community at large, but also go above & beyond by verifying unlimited hits at the county level every time.
Founded in 2013, Hirelect is a proud full service Greenville, South Carolina pre- and post-employment screening firm. As a member of the NAPBS, the Better Business Bureau, the SHRM, we believe that the good reputation comes from our emphasis on our clients’ interests.
I understand that considering the downturns of a bad hire, you might already be using a service similar to ours as the question is not “Whether you should be screening or not?” but why you would choose “Hirelect?”
We’ll save you time & money: With industry’s finest software available to you as a browser base system that integrates with 100+ HR systems, you can reduce acquisition times and save money.
You’ll get actionable results: We are 100% committed to defensible processes and put your business first, without outsourcing any sensitive information.
You can talk to Americans – in real time: Call us and talk to us whenever you want. Get answers from professionals who understand dispositions and state by state “court speak”.
You’ll maintain compliance: When an employer neglects to follow “criminal records 101”, the cost can be high with an average of $1000 per violation. Don’t let your business be a statistic.
We not only offer pre-packages checks but also offer custom plans to our clients and that too at a very affordable cost. Our services include
Unlimited verified state level criminal/ civil history reports (5, 7 or more years)
Federal criminal/ civil history reports 95, 7 or more years)
Drug Screening (5, 10, DOT – Approved or custom panels)
Social security number trace and alias verification
Terrorist/ exclusion/ debarment watch lists (OFAC, OIC, FBI, GSA, etc.)
Motor vehicle records check
Employment/ educational/ professional license verifications
E-verify services and compliance
Because background screening and the relevant laws are evolving all the time, I would love to talk with you and discuss potential pitfalls in your current system or, if you don’t have one, find a solution that would fit your needs. More about us at www.hirelect.com.
Does sometime next week work for you?
Cheers,
Zo
Following Up to request a meeting | Hirelect – (Company Name)
Hi (First Name),
How are you doing? I hope all’s well! I thought I'd follow up just in case you missed my earlier email.
I wanted to quickly share some disturbing HR insights we’ve recently uncovered that might affect (company).
In the past year, we’ve seen a significant spike in HR related lawsuits against employers because their background screening vendors are not compliant with FCRA / State Regulations.
We’ve also noticed a sizable increase in personal data being sent by background screening vendors to their oversea branches in Asia to boost profit…This is causing a lot of personal information being sold in the black market and companies like yours are being sued daily and their brands are negatively affected.
Further, our studies have shown us that many vendors are not confirming database hits at the county level in real time to boost profit. Because databases, which many vendors use to save money only covers 60% amount of states and many of the data is not correct data so, verifying EVERYTHING is a must. A lawsuit for not hiring someone due to incorrect data could literally bankrupt (company) or your E&O (if the lawsuit is covered) will pay out and your rates will rise through the roof.
Lastly, many background screening vendors are not screening aliases…This should really be a no brainier as over 50% of the US population is women and they probably have an alias after they married but, again, to boost profit, this important step is being avoided by many screening vendors.
(Name), if you have a provider, I’d advise that you please ask them these six questions ASAP:
1. What infrastructure do you have to make sure you are using the most up to date disclosures and authorizations?
2. How are you insuring that my background checks are not breaking FCRA regs and my State’s rules?
3. Do you send any of my potential employee’s information overseas?
4. Do you use freelancers or external workforce to do the background screening?
5. Do you verify every single hit from the database search at the county level?
6. Are background checks being done on aliases for all potential employees?
(Name) I hope I was able to share some insights with you. Would love to get the chance to talk to you about the above mentioned insights and questions and how Hirelect might be able to mitigate your risks. More about us at www.hirelect.com.
Do you have time to talk next week? If you have any question or concern, do let me know and I’ll do my best to answer it.
Cheers,
Zo
Just give me 1, 2 or 3 | Meeting Request for (Full Name) from (Company Name)
Hi (First Name),
I haven't heard back from you and I figured it was one of three things:
1) You're interested but haven't had the time to get back to me.
2) You're uncertain about our services and how they might be able to benefit you. In that case, let me know your concerns and I’ll try my best to answer them.
3) You've already chosen another company for the said services or you’re just not interested, in which case let me know and I’ll stop bothering you.
Please let me know which one it is!
Cheers,
Zo
