1. Primary responsibility includes overseeing the day to day operations of KRANTI
groups nationwide microfinance projects. (Project Lead: Rajshahi & Comilla Division)
2. Be responsible for leading the project completion, assuring its full integration with
other activities of the Institute specially to identify and implement cross-strengthening
activities in regard to microfinance and commercial banking.
3. Be responsible for developing, maintaining and strengthening relationships with MFIs,
MISFA, Local Govt. and Donor agencies, foreign Microfinance Associations, FAIDA,
relevant international and domestic institutions and/or Ministries.
4. Develop strategy and work plan for the Microfinance Department, in consultation with
MISFA and FAIDA.
5. Be able to promote and market the microfinance program to all the stakeholders.
6. Oversee and finalize the development of courses, curriculum and training materials for
field and other intra departmental workforce relevant to the KRANTI Group’s
microfinance projects in close coordination with KRANTI Consulting Services Ltd.,
MFIs and other relevant stakeholders.
7. Work in coordination with relevant training service providers to enhance the
microfinance curriculum.
8. Manage and help in the development of the skills, knowledge and tools of microfinance
national field trainers. Develop professional development plans for each national trainer
and provide in-house training in relevant areas;
9. Develop and support diverse strengthening activities for microfinance, including
forums, focus on compliance and internal audit, and a forum on women in finance
10. Ensure project compliances in all aspects of the projects starting from procurement,
Payment disbursements, Account payables/ receivables, retention of the numbers of
beneficiaries while maintaining consistent growth and ease of escalation for meeting
both short term and long-term objectives.
11. Prepare reports for presentation to the Director and Board of Directors of the Group;
12. Maintain effective communication with the trainees, Group management, board of
directors and the commercial banks and other financial institutions;
13. Reporting to the Director pertaining in all activities of the microfinance projects in
Rajshahi & Cumilla Division.
