About

I am more of an introvert who loves photography. I become anxious in crowds, or really anything larger than six people, but am more relaxed in small groups or less. At a community college, I earned an Associate’s Degree in Digital Arts, learning photography settings and scenes, retouching and editing, graphic design, and more. Being taught in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, I would like to put my skills to use.

I often photograph my trips, near and far, and enjoy learning from them to correct settings in the future. I consider myself to be in the process of learning every time I snap a picture. I prefer macro nature photography and shy away from human photography, as they have their own opinions on how they look in the photograph.

Until late, I worked in an upscale thrift retail atmosphere. In hopes of finding remote work, I have been scouring the web for possibilities. I prefer to be behind the scenes rather than in the foreground. Currently, I am working towards creating my own photo editing business using Adobe Lightroom. However, I need a source of remote part-time income while I pursue this interest, as it is more time consuming than I had previously thought. My ultimate goal is to be able to travel the country with my husband and have time with my current and future family.

I tend to be persistent and have many interests. I learn quickly when it comes to computers and look forward to learning new skills. I am interested in becoming a virtual assistant, but feel as though I need training. I have considered this option in the past, but not knowing where to start or if it was for me, I set it aside. Additionally, I like to type and research on the computer, resulting in an interest in data entry - though I have not been able to find anything legitimate as of now. I also enjoy proofreading. I am not much of a reader right now, but enjoy finding errors in everything – including social media posts, menus, blogs, and more. I intend to continue this route in the future, but at my own pace.

I rarely am on social media sites, but find them to be amusing at times. I do, however, find Pinterest to be very inspirational as I try to make my own gifts for family and friends. I love being crafty and, therefore, enjoy Do It Yourself tasks.
